How funny to be browsing random Bellingham blogs and see a familiar face! I suppose it shouldn't be too surprising; Bellingham is still a small town in many ways. Anyway, I haven't seen you in many years, but thought you'd like to know you influenced me to become a vegetarian nine years ago-- thank you for introducing me to a more compassionate, healthier lifestyle! Hope you're happy and doing well.

Liz! How wonderful to hear from you! What a great surprise! Thanks so much for your comment and your kind words. I am definitely happy and doing well, and I hope the same is true for you and Eli--how awesome that the two of you are married! Drop me an email sometime if you get the chance so I can write you back and we can catch up more (veganinbellingham@gmail.com) and tell Eli hi for me too! :)
They now have a vegan spread for the bagels as well!

I just checked out Zoe's for the first time! I'm not sure what brand of vegan cream cheese they use but it's a little funky. It does the trick though. Do you happen to know if the breads for their sandwiches are vegan? I didn't get a chance to ask. Thanks for your helpful posts!
Hi Robin,
I think it's a vegan cream cheese that they make in-house but I am not sure. It is a little different than the store-bought kind... All of the bagels are vegan (The Bagelry bagels are vegan, and that's where they get them from), but I am not sure about breads? Let me know if you find out anything new! Thanks!
